Finally finished this thing for 's Villain's Contest.
I actually wanted to do this for some time so the contest gave me a good excuse to finish it. Mother Gothel is probably pretty common in the contest since she's new but I just couldn't resist
Although, I have to admit that I'm not exactly satisfied with how it came out, but it's finished and I enjoyed drawing it out. So life's good and Mother Gothel was actually surprisingly easy to draw so I've found out. 8D
Anyways, hope you like it~
EDIT: I thought I should mention about the title. There was a discussion with some friends about how they thought there was going to be another moment in the movie where there would be the "I love you" "I love you more" "I love you most" bit but in the part where they argue. Like Rapunzel should have said "I needed you!" Mother Gothel referring to her hair "I needed you more" and Rapunzel finishing with a broken "I needed you most." It's a little disappointing that bit wasn't used as a clever build up to the end, but the movie's still brilliant so whatever. This is where the title idea came from though. And NOW you knooooow.
Ooooh, this is very good I like the symbolism, the fact that Rapunzel was used as a marionette by mother Gothel, who used her hair as the strings to hold her... It's sooo creepy, yet wonderfully made
Wonderfully done! I especially love the concept behind it, very very clever. Depicts their relationship and mother Grothel's personality perfectly. Amazing work! Also Great job on Repunzel's hair it's lovely
